Anping Chen

Anping Chen is a composer currently based in New York and Shanghai focusing on scoring for films and media.

He has composed for award-wining short films, games developed by NetEase, Tencent, Papergames, etc., and projects such as stage plays, light shows.

​

Anping’s style is blended with orchestral, electronic, and instrumental elements in a unique and recognizable way. He always relates his music organically with the scenes, driving rich emotion among the audience.

 

He is pursuing an M.M. in Screen Scoring from NYU and holds a B.M. in Technology and Applied Composition from San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
